Systems-Thinking: From Visioning to Implementation to Outcomes
Board Development
The art of moving from current realities to future vision can be equated to planting a vegetable garden. There are so many components that are necessary for a healthy garden that produces nutrient-rich and disease-free vegetables. This does not happen by chance. We will work with you and your organization to understand the systems that are working/not working, what are the root causes of the current reality, and how the organization can reach its future vision. Along the way, we will celebrate and recognize successes and opportunities for adjustments.
Whether you have a public board or a private board, there will always be a need to develop strong and effective relationships, communication behaviors, policies/practices, and board recruitment. Organizations face challenges when there are compromised board practices. The majority of these challenges can be addressed through increasing board members’ competencies, strategic planning/action planning, returning to mission/vision/values, organization, and communication. We will work with Boards and C-suite leaders to ensure that the needs of the organization are met through strong board and C-Suite practices.

It is important for organizations to create a culture where succession planning is not left to chance but instead is focused on development, honesty, executive coaching, and clear practices. We support organizations to understand the short-term and long-term planning that is necessary when it comes to being prepared for planned and unplanned changes in leadership.
